MEET OUR STAFF

Angela I. Okotie-Eboh, BSN, MSN, ANP, GNP.
(Founder & President)

Angela I. Okotie-Eboh, a Nurse Practitioner and Pastor, founded Heart and Health Ministries International in 2004. This ministry exists to improve healthcare and alleviate the sufferings of the indigents of developing countries. The vision for this ministry was birthed after her childhood friend died needlessly in her home country of Nigeria, as a result of very sub-standard medical care. The first medical missions trip to Nigeria in March 2005, was successfully carried out by the medication samples Angela collected from over 15 medical practices in Houston, Texas. Since then the ministry has expanded to include evangelism, support for orphans and children, support for helpless, sick and abandoned elders, and pastoral support. Her vision to bring a positive change to developing countries was again fueled by the recent deaths of her father and oldest sister (both again dying from inadequate medical care). Angela's medical and nursing experience has uniquely equipped her for this call of God on her life. She owns her own private practice, NP Care Services located in Houston, Texas. Her practice is focused primarily on the medical needs of the elderly and those with mental health challenges. Angela also co-pastors, alongside her husband Goodluck Okotie-Eboh, at The Ark Fellowship Church in Cypress, Texas. The Okotie-Eboh's have three adult children, Omare, Grace and Toju.

Thresa was raised in a christian home and cannot remember a time in her life when she did not love and serve the Lord. Having been brought up in a home where her parents served in many positions in the church, she has followed in their footsteps by being very involved and active in ministry. Utilizing her 25 plus years of adminstrative experience and her natural abilities with technology, she joined her friend and Pastor in the call to serve God's people around the world by ministering not only to their health but also to their heart. She has been instrumental in advancing the call of this ministry and coordinating all activities to ensure that hope is brought to those that have none.
